Mid-Level Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist (TS/SCI)

About the role

The National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) is seeking a Mid-Level Exploitation Specialist/Data Scientist to support the Analysis Office (AOT/US SOCOM) in Springfield, VA. The position involves coordinating with clients to understand and address their dataset-related questions, determining the most effective methods and approaches to develop data-driven solutions, and assisting in the development of automated processes and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients to understand and address their dataset-related questions
• Determine the most effective methods and approaches to develop data-driven solutions
• Assist in the development of automated processes and workflows
• Conduct analysis and use available tools to analyze data
• Remain adaptable to mission requirements and identify patterns to help solve complex problems
• Translate road map features into components/tasks, estimate timelines, identify resources, suggest solutions, and recognize possible risks
• Conduct peer reviews to improve workflow, procedures, and methodologies
• Build high-performing teams and mentor team members to increase their technical skills and knowledge

Requirements

• Possess a Master's degree in Data Science or a related technical field
• Experience developing and working with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML)
• Advanced programming techniques using HTML 5/Javascript, ArcObjects, Python, Model Builder, Oracle, SQL, GIScience, GeospatiavAnalysis, Statistics, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, Arc SDE, ArcIMS, NET, Python, C++, and/or JAVA
• Experience building and maintaining databases of GEOINT, SIGINT, or OSINT data related to the area of interest
• Data Visualization Experience including Matrix Analytics, Network Analytics, and Graphing Data

Qualifications

• Experience using NET, Python, C++, and/or JAVA programming for web interface development and geodatabase development

Skills

• Master's degree in Data Science or related technical field
• Experience with AI/ML
• Advanced programming skills (HTML 5/Javascript, ArcObjects, Python, Model Builder, Oracle, SQL, GIScience, GeospatiavAnalysis, Statistics, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, Arc SDE, ArcIMS, NET, Python, C++, and/or JAVA)
