About Us

We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms. We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being. We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare. Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii.

About the Role

As the Sr. Events Marketing Manager at Rula, you will own the strategy, performance, and execution of our national conference portfolio to drive measurable pipeline growth. In this highly cross-functional role, you will establish event tiering, manage budgets, and set ROI targets while partnering closely with Sales and Executive leadership to align each activation with our commercial goals. Beyond high-level strategy, you will collaborate with internal marketing teams to execute cohesive pre- and post-event attendee engagement campaigns, while directly managing all central logistics—including vendor relationships, booth design, branding, and swag production.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and execute large-scale B2B conference strategies within a healthcare, health-tech, or enterprise software environment.
  • Oversee large event budgets ($2.45M+ scale) across tier sponsorships, printing, logistics, and vendor execution.
  • Develop and implement account-based prospecting architectures (e.g., leveraging HubSpot or Apollo) to secure pre-scheduled meetings with C-suite buyer personas (Payers, Health Systems, HR leaders).
  • Deliver concise, high-level briefing documentation for S-Team and C-suite members before executive deployments.
  • Travel up to 30% to steward premier onsite booth presence and manage distributed field resources.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of related professional Marketing experience, with a focus on event marketing and/or demand generation.
  • Proven expertise in architecting large-scale B2B conference strategies.
  • Experience overseeing large event budgets ($2.45M+ scale).
  • Subject matter expertise in account-based prospecting architectures (e.g., HubSpot or Apollo).
  • Exceptional written communication skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience collaborating directly with clinical or medical affairs teams to navigate and secure formal clinical sign-off on event presentations, pitches, and compliance-sensitive marketing collateral.
  • Proficiency utilizing marketing automation systems (e.g., HubSpot) and CRM reporting tools (Salesforce) to calculate multi-touch pipeline attribution, tracking leads through to specific downstream healthcare metrics (e.g., covered lives, opportunities, and patient starts).
  • Existing relationships with tier-1 event vendors, exhibit houses, and logistics partners, with a proven track record of scaling an ad-hoc event schedule into a highly repeatable "event machine" portfolio of 30+ national conferences annually.

Benefits

  • 100% remote work environment with flexible working hours to support a healthy work-life balance (must be based in the United States, currently not hiring in Hawaii).
  • Attractive pay and benefits with full transparency of pay ranges regardless of location in the United States.
  • Comprehensive health benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and FSA/HSA.
  • 401(k) plan access.
  • Generous time-off policies, including 2 company-wide shutdown weeks each year for self-care (for most employees).
  • Paid parental leave for all parents, including birthing, non-birthing, adopting, and fostering.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) supporting mental and physical health.
  • Quarterly department stipend for fun team-building activities or in-person gatherings.
  • Community and employee resource groups that celebrate employee identity and lived experiences.
  • Home office stipend for new hires and a $50 monthly stipend to help cover internet or cell phone expenses.
  • Wellness at Rula program with year-round wellness initiatives and a $50/month wellness stipend.
