Sr Engineering Manager, Web Apps

Responsibilities

• Lead daily engineering execution and manage priorities for the team
• Coach and support Web Services engineers and contractors in their development
• Oversee team budget and resource planning comprehensively
• Translate product direction into actionable engineering plans
• Evaluate critical engineering tradeoffs and manage work credibly
• Improve engineering practices in code review, testing, and operational readiness

Qualifications

• 15+ years of industry experience, with at least 10 years in engineering leadership roles
• 5+ years of people management experience in an engineering context
• Proven experience managing senior tech teams and aligning with business stakeholders
• Ability to convert technical and organizational direction into clear execution plans
• Technical depth to assess engineering tradeoffs and service reliability effectively
• Strong communication skills to foster clarity and accountability across varied environments
• Experience integrating AI tools into engineering workflows and decision-making
