Primary Purpose Of Position
Provide overall management of the engineering function for an Extended Power Uprate.
As responsibility increases within the organization, hours of work may increase proportionally.
Primary Duties And Accountabilities
- Provide management, governance and oversight of the engineering function for the extended power uprate with respect to the needs and regulatory requirements of the project.
- Manage the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel relative corporate objectives and provide focus on the attainment of high-quality engineering results.
- Participate as key manager in Business Planning, Budget, and Business Performance review regarding site and Constellation Nuclear.
- Fulfill managerial responsibilities regarding assigned staff (e.g., Employment, Development, Compensation, Performance Evaluation, etc.).
- Ensure consistent and effective work force practices through assigned supervisors/functions.
- Directly and through subordinates, fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding development of a licensing submittal for the Power Uprate.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) or related science
- OR Active/Inactive Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) license
- 10 years of overall related experience
- Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
- Supervisory or managerial experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) Registration
- Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) License or Certification
