Job Description

The MYA Reliability Engineering People Leader will lead a business-critical team focused on driving accurate and compliant model updates for the MYA/CS business. This includes sustaining and developing processes and tools for underwriting guarantees, a key aspect of GE Vernova's business success.

You will drive cross-functional collaboration within and outside the Reliability Engineering organization, fostering innovation and maintaining integrity. You will also ensure quality execution of all work and model generation/updates, aligning with safety-first and quality-focused practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Embrace a Safety-first mindset, supporting product risk-reduction with urgency
  • Ensure quality execution of all work and model generation/updates meeting requirements in SYSDPs, Reliability QWIs, and process documents
  • Establish, communicate, and operationalize a clear vision and culture for the MYA Reliability Engineering team, serving as the go-to team for all questions related to MYA and CS catalog modeling and NLREs
  • Maintain catalog update compliance by ensuring timely and accurate model updates
  • Set team priorities, expectations, and standards to drive high 'say-do' execution, accountable for meeting business targets aligned with the Gas Power Services business line
  • Cultivate a positive working environment and team morale
  • Develop and maintain strong collaborative relationships with interfacing teams to enable efficient cross-functional decision-making

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials, or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with 10 years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant design and engineering experience
  • A working understanding of Reliability engineering and statistics
  • An understanding of how the MYA business functions and the impacts Reliability Engineering outputs have on the MYA catalog and financials
