Sr Enablement Copywriter
About the role
The Senior Enablement Copywriter is responsible for crafting compelling and effective copy that aligns with our brand voice and engages our diverse audience. You will collaborate with marketing, product, project management, and compliance teams to create clear, persuasive, and compliant content for various channels, including digital, print, and social media. Additionally, you will ensure all content adheres to regulatory guidelines and brand standards while staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Work with engagement teams to find creative, concise, and effective editorial answers for stakeholder needs.
- Be a brand champion, following editorial guidelines and modern copywriting best practices.
- Write emails, web and internal communications, direct mail, advertisements, social media posts, and thought‑leadership pieces.
- Bring big ideas to life in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment.
- Collaborate closely with the Sr. Sales Enablement Manager and Marketing Directors to comply with and elevate copy production operations.
- Craft messaging to support campaigns and directives, implementing and elevating Columbia’s brand voice.
- Write and edit content to give a distinctive brand to our commercial bank business.
- Update project status related to copy production workflow using Wrike or other relevant technology.
- Work collaboratively with creative and banking professionals.
- Demonstrate compliance with all bank regulations for the assigned function and stay current on regulation changes.
- Follow all Bank policies, procedures, and compliance regulations, completing required training.
- Maintain working knowledge of Bank policies regarding BSA, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security, and other applicable regulations.
- Coach, mentor, or train others as a subject‑matter expert when needed.
- Actively learn, demonstrate, and foster the Columbia corporate culture.
- Take personal initiative and serve as a positive example for others.

About you
- 5–10 years of copywriting experience in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented business environment, preferably in financial services.
- Strong understanding of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to craft engaging, persuasive copy that aligns with the bank’s brand voice.
- Excellent editing and proofreading skills to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams, including marketing, product, and compliance.
- Ability to build and develop strong relationships with content production partners such as project managers and designers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Capability to analyze market trends and customer insights to inform content strategy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conveying complex information.
- Flexibility to adjust writing style and tone for different channels and audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools (Seismic administrative experience preferred).
- Occasional travel may be required.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $90,000 – $115,000. The final pay rate will depend on factors such as knowledge, skills, experience, education, and geographic location. The role may also be eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation.
