Job Summary

Our Voluntary Benefits Division is hiring a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant to recruit, train, educate, motivate, and maintain National and Regional Broker Partners to sell, service, and conserve business in order to ensure profitable growth and meet sales objectives.

  • Recruiting new producers
  • Training and on-going development of producers
  • Maintaining a positive working relationship with various departments
  • Meet or exceed assigned production plan
  • Contribute to effective relationships between producers and home office departments
  • Analyze markets and formulate recruiting programs
  • Secure producers who will effectively produce quality premiums
  • Help bring value to existing book of business and develop new opportunities
  • Provide feedback on changes in the marketplace
  • Implement and support the corporate strategy including cross-selling partner products

Responsibilities

Make qualified calls on groups with producers and provide enrollment support on a new producers first couple of accounts opened.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in voluntary and/or employee benefits required
  • Must possess an established broker network within the defined territory
  • The ability to travel as needed throughout the defined territory is required

Qualifications

  • Licenses: Life & Health licenses required
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience: 10+ years of voluntary and/or employee benefits sales experience

Pay

This is a minimum range that can be increased based on performance and sales activity. Salary Range: $200k - $300k+, which includes a base salary and target incentive compensation
