Job Summary
The Voluntary Benefits Division of The Standard is seeking a Senior Employee Benefits Consultant to manage and grow a network of brokers within the mid-Atlantic territory, focusing on recruiting, training, and supporting producers to achieve sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and motivate new and existing producers
- Provide enrollment support for new producers
- Maintain relationships with various departments within the company
- Meet or exceed sales targets and premium growth objectives
- Contribute to the implementation and support of corporate strategies
- Help analyze markets and develop recruiting programs
- Support the development of new opportunities for producers
- Provide feedback on changes in the marketplace
Requirements
- Experience in voluntary and/or employee benefits
- Established broker network within the defined territory
- Ability to travel within the defined territory
- Licenses: Life & Health licenses required
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience: 10+ years of voluntary and/or employee benefits sales experience

Schedule
Must reside within the territory to be considered for this role. Must have an established broker network within the territory to be considered for this role. Ability to travel as needed throughout the defined territory is required for this role.
Pay
This is a minimum range that can be increased based on performance and sales activity. Salary Range: $200k - $300k+, which includes a base salary and target incentive compensation.
