About the role
The Sr. Electrical Engineer - Engineering & Automation plays a key leadership role in bringing complex, cutting-edge projects to life. This role involves overseeing and advising on electrical schematics and panel layouts, evaluating and reviewing bids and proposals, and collaborating with other departments to ensure a high-quality product.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and review bids and proposals to minimize risk and ensure profitability
- Recognize and pursue additional business opportunities with new and existing customers
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices
- Evaluate internal processes and procedures while seeking continuous improvement
- Assign, oversee, review, and provide feedback to other Engineers on work assignments
- Verify that end products meet the project scope, budget, and needs of customers
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a high quality of product
- Gather information and pricing for proposal process to include site visits as needed
Requirements
- Over 10 years' of electrical or other relevant work experience
- A 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering
- Passing PE (Professional Engineering Exam) or ability to obtain
Qualifications
- Passing background and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Valid Driver’s License
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret, define, and edit scope of work
- Demonstrated ability in training personnel and providing relevant learning opportunities
