SR. DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT - EARTH & ENERGY

About the role

The Senior Director of Development for the Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy reports to the Executive Director of Advancement and serves as a key member of the college's advancement team.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of major gift prospects and donors capable of making commitments of $25,000 and above
• Develops and executes fundraising strategies that advance the college's priorities in energy, geosciences, sustainability, workforce development, research, and student success
• Works in partnership with college leadership, faculty, alumni, industry partners, and colleagues across the OU Foundation
• Connects donor interests with opportunities that strengthen the college's impact on Oklahoma, the nation, and the global energy landscape
• Occasional evenings and weekends, as well as domestic travel required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and eight (8) or more years of progressive experience in fundraising, sales and/or gift-planning-related roles required
• Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification preferred

• On-site role in Norman, Okla.
