Position Summary
The Sr. Director Power Generation Development at WattBridge leads large-scale natural gas power block developments and co-located data center projects with microgrid solutions. Reporting to the Vice President of Development, you will work alongside senior leaders to advance the company's development portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in engineering, environmental, business administration, or economics (preferred)
- At least ten (10) years of work experience at a leading IPP, utility, renewable, or data center developer with significant experience in project development
- Proven record of accomplishment in power or data center development, ending in financial close and commercial operation
- Proven experience leading and managing multi-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve potential project flaws and prioritize critical path tasks
- Thorough understanding of land easements/leases and title curative requirements
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial office environment
- Working knowledge of technical development disciplines, including interconnection, gas transport/supply arrangements, resource assessment, power generation, operations, GIS, etc.
- Track record of successfully working with public officials to obtain development permits, tax abatements, etc.
- Demonstrated technical, economic, and commercial evaluation in supporting decision making
- Must be fluent in English, with strong speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension skills

- Experience in regulatory and government affairs
- Experience in land acquisition and permitting
- Experience in project management and team leadership
