Duties

  • Set the financial strategy for the Gorilla brand portfolio.
  • Lead long-range financial planning, annual planning, forecasting, and performance management across the brand P&L, ensuring alignment to growth, margin, cash, and enterprise value creation priorities.
  • Serve as the senior finance advisor to commercial and brand leadership. Partner with Brand, Sales, Commercial Strategy & Planning, and Finance leaders to evaluate strategic choices, challenge assumptions, and recommend financially sound paths forward.
  • Lead investment governance and ROI discipline. Establish the financial framework for trade, marketing, innovation, and brand-building investments; evaluate effectiveness; and recommend reallocation decisions to maximize return and brand equity.
  • Own pricing strategy and financial governance. Partner with cross-functional leadership to develop annual and multi-year pricing strategies, leverage advanced analytics, and establish governance across major portfolios and offerings.
  • Shape innovation and portfolio economics. Lead financial analysis for new product launches, product development, portfolio optimization, and strategic initiatives, ensuring plans are commercially compelling, financially viable, and operationally executable.
  • Identify enterprise value creation opportunities. Use market trends, competitive insights, margin analytics, cost-to-serve, and scenario modeling to uncover opportunities to accelerate profitable revenue growth and reduce complexity.
  • Lead executive-level decision support. Develop and present concise, executive-ready financial recommendations, business cases, forecasts, and scenario analyses to senior leaders to support enterprise decision-making.
  • Drive cross-functional transformation. Lead complex, high-impact initiatives across Brand, Sales, Finance, and Operations that require influence, prioritization, change leadership, and sustained execution.
  • Build financial capability across the matrix. Coach and train cross-functional leaders on financial drivers, marketing investment effectiveness, pricing discipline, and decision-quality analytics.
  • Maintain strong financial discipline and controls. Ensure planning, investment management, and reporting processes are accurate, controlled, and aligned to company standards while supporting agile business decision-making.
  • Lead special projects and strategic analyses. Sponsor and lead high-priority projects that may span brands, functions, regions, or enterprise priorities, translating complex data into actionable business strategy.
  • Develop talent and leadership capability. Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to finance team members or matrixed partners; model enterprise thinking, accountability, and strong business partnership.

Qualifications

  • B.S. degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field required.
  • MBA or advanced degree with a Finance, Marketing, Strategy, or Analytics focus preferred.
  • CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification preferred but not required.

Experience and Background

  • 10+ years of progressive finance, commercial finance, FP&A, strategy, or related CPG experience; senior-level brand, commercial, or portfolio finance experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success serving as a strategic finance partner to senior commercial, brand, sales, and/or executive leadership.
  • Proven ability to lead enterprise-level financial planning, portfolio strategy, pricing strategy, marketing investment governance, and ROI-based decision-making.
  • Strong experience building business cases, scenario models, investment frameworks, executive presentations, and recommendations that influence senior-level decisions.
  • Experience leading complex cross-functional initiatives with demonstrated results in profitable growth, margin expansion, cost optimization, or investment effectiveness.
  • Advanced analytical, quantitative, problem-solving, and storytelling skills; ability to translate complex analysis into clear business action.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to present credibly, influence constructively, and challenge respectfully at senior levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships across functions and regions, operate in a matrixed environment, and align stakeholders around enterprise priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization / analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with enterprise planning systems such as Oracle preferred.
  • People leadership, coaching, or matrix leadership experience preferred.
