Essential Functions
- Drive Business Growth and Performance
- Accountable for business unit financial performance including achievement of revenue, margin, cash flow, and profitability objectives.
- Lead development of annual operating plans and forecasts.
- Lead execution of revenue and margin growth strategies.
- Prioritize business unit resources and decisions to maximize long-term growth and profitability.
- Monitor business performance and drive corrective actions as needed.
- Shape and Execute Market Strategy
- Partner with senior leadership to refine strategic direction and growth priorities.
- Lead development of plans for key segments, including market analysis, pricing, and customer engagement strategies.
- Maintain deep understanding of customers, competitors, and market dynamics.
- Align and Influence Cross-Functional Teams
- Lead cross-functional teams across sales, product management, engineering, and operations.
- Drive disciplined execution of key initiatives, including product launches and growth programs.
- Ensure coordination and accountability across the value chain.
- Drive Innovation and Portfolio Focus
- Support prioritization and advancement of innovation and product development efforts.
- Help balance near-term execution with longer-term growth opportunities.
- Partner with technical and commercial leaders to evaluate and advance high-impact initiatives.
- Strengthen Customer and Internal Partnerships
- Build strong relationships with key customers and strategic partners.
- Establish credibility with internal stakeholders and leadership teams.
- Act as a central point of coordination for business unit priorities.
Qualifications
- 15–20+ years of progressive leadership experience in industrial, electronics, or related B2B environments.
- Profound understanding of high-frequency and high-speed PCB applications and market dynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- MBA is preferred.
- Proven P&L ownership experience ($100M+ business preferred, depending on company size).
