Sr Developer - ISeries

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Applications Development, this role focuses on the development, support, and enhancements of API and data integrations within the iSeries environment for new and existing applications.

About the role

This position will engage in the continued development and support of the client's current iSeries environment and associated operational applications across the company. It also involves supporting new iSeries initiatives designed to improve operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop, support, and enhance API and data integrations within the iSeries environment.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend solutions.
• Manage time and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Requirements

• Expert-level proficiency in iSeries, RPG, and web services.
• Versed in SDLC and best practices for applications development in a SOX-compliant environment.
• Knowledge of Midrange Dynamics code management is a plus.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to take on new opportunities and learn new technologies.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Transportation knowledge is a plus but not required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $120,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year.

Schedule

This is a permanent, fully onsite position based in Dothan, AL.
