About the Role
Client seeks a qualified resource responsible for providing desktop support with considerable knowledge in the following areas:
- Microsoft Operating systems (Windows 11 or higher)
- MS Office including Outlook and MS365
- PC hardware, peripherals, and networks
- Laptop refresh processes
- Software tools such as SCCM, Remote Desktop, and Dameware for remote workstation connections
Key responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Performing software installations and configurations
- Running reports and analyzing common complaints and problems
- Obtaining customer feedback to improve training methods
Requirements
- Strong working knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software, including drivers and BIOS (4 years required)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and team-working skills (4 years required)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (4 years required)
- Demonstrated ability to obtain feedback from customers to improve training methods (4 years required)
- Openness to learning new technologies (4 years required)
- Considerable knowledge of SCCM/SMS
