Sr Deposit Operations Associate

About the Role

The Senior Deposit Operations Associate manages client profile agreements and all accompanying documentation related to the implementation of account set-up. This role conducts the implementation process for new accounts, performs maintenance on existing accounts, handles teller work functions, manages escrow sub-accounting clients, provides training to new employees, offers ongoing client support, and troubleshoots issues related to client deposits and returns. The position requires a solid understanding of all deposit products, including Checking, Money Markets, Certificates of Deposits, and CDARS/ICS.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Deposit Operations team lead on daily tasks
• Performs client implementation set-up, maintenance requests, teller work, and quality review
• Manages escrow clients as it relates to sub-accounting
• Assists with new employee training
• Ensures all service levels are met
• Provides ongoing client support
• Works closely with Relationship Managers, Sales, Wire Operations, Treasury Operations, ACH Operations, Loan Operations, Capital Markets, and Compliance to execute responsibilities effectively

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience, including 2 years in bank operations in a deposit operations role
• General experience of 7 to 12 months

Skills

• Demonstrates knowledge of all deposit products, systems, and related processes
• Experience with deposit products including Checking, Money Markets, Certificates of Deposits, and CDARS/ICS
• Branch knowledge, such as teller work, new account opening, and client service requests
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing and over the phone
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment
• Job may require additional hours during peak periods to meet service levels
