About the role

The Senior Securities Services Operations Associate is part of the Trust & Custody Operations team, supporting the fast-growing Corporate Trust and Institutional Custody departments. This role interacts with various UMB clients and internal partners to evaluate and process requests for new business onboarding, client invoicing, payment transactions, and other duties. The team provides a high level of service through robust training and financial expertise, ensuring accurate processing of requests in a fast-paced environment.

Team members are subject matter experts who deliver high performance while maintaining flexibility and adaptability to client needs. The role fosters strong connections among associates in a fun, professional setting, with opportunities for career progression and skill development.

Responsibilities

• Process client fee schedule evaluations, fee billing setup, account maintenance, and monthly invoice generation.
• Assist with peer review and learn multiple functions within the team.
• Use problem-solving skills to determine actions for processing client requests.
• Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure accurate processing.
• Communicate effectively to create a positive client experience.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of financial services or banking experience OR a college degree.

Pay

Compensation Range: $44,685 - $65,736. The posted range represents UMB’s good faith and reasonable estimate based on its budget and expectations for the starting pay, though actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
