Sr. Curriculum Developer
About the role
Leidos has an immediate opportunity for a Senior Curriculum Developer in our Intel Security Sector's Analysis Solutions Business Area. The role supports a challenging and dynamic program in Bethesda, MD, joining an established cross-functional team that designs, develops, and maintains learning solutions for the customer’s enterprise learning organization. The Developer will use established processes to analyze, design, develop, and implement learner-centric learning solutions and audit existing solutions to ensure they meet customer needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in adult learning practices and methods to develop and enhance instructional curriculum for classroom and web-based delivery.
- Conduct needs assessments and training needs analyses.
- Execute all facets of the training development life cycle for various training types, including instructor-led courses, web-based and online training, blended learning, and performance support.
- Use Adobe Captivate tools for development of training using the ADDIE Method.
- Select and design innovative instructional and learning strategies and technologies to optimize learning and achieve objectives.
- Develop, execute, and test training courses and performance support products.
- Manage and execute all aspects of training projects, including schedules, resources, and scope.
- Work with clients to determine learning needs, appropriate outcomes, and instructional methodologies based on adult learning theory.
- Design, develop, and deliver instructional materials for instructor and student use in approved formats (e.g., visuals, instructor guides, student materials, reference guides).
- Complete peer-to-peer reviews to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to course content guidelines.
- Provide consultation and recommendations on innovative training solutions, curriculum development, and delivery.
- Collaborate with instructors, subject matter experts, and multimedia developers to analyze, design, develop, and evaluate learning solutions.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with training project plans and schedules.
- Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies to enhance the design, development, and delivery of training programs (e.g., AI-powered adaptive learning, natural language processing, machine learning algorithms).
- Implement Section 508 requirements and develop learning solutions for Intelligence Community (IC) agencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree with 10+ years of experience. Additional years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- Current and active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance.
- Experience with AI-powered tools and technologies (e.g., adaptive learning platforms, AI-powered authoring tools).
- Familiarity with technical specifications for Learning Management Systems (LMS), SCORM, and WBT authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.

Pay
Pay Range: $105,300.00 - $190,350.00. The Leidos pay range is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors considered include responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data.
