ADP is hiring a Senior Counsel – Business Unit & Strategic Initiatives. Location: Parsippany, NJ or Miami, FL. Make your mark at ADP. In this role, you will serve as a trusted legal advisor to business leaders and legal colleagues, with a strong focus on payroll tax, escalation management, risk mitigation, and compliance. You will partner across legal and business teams to address complex issues, simplify legal guidance for non-legal audiences, and help ADP respond to evolving regulatory and operational demands.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted legal advisor to business leaders and legal colleagues on legal strategy, risk, and compliance across ADP business units
• Resolve and manage disputes, negotiate settlements, and minimize risk, with a strong focus on employer and employee tax matters and business outsourcing issues
• Partner closely with colleagues across ADP’s legal department and business units to support payroll tax escalation management and develop frameworks that minimize risk and financial exposure for ADP and its clients
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business and legal teams to support operations, marketing, and compliance initiatives
• Stay ahead of regulatory changes impacting ADP and drive solutions to meet evolving requirements
• Simplify complex legal issues for non-legal audiences and help shape business decisions
