Responsibilities
- Manage execution of clinical trial agreements and related site-facing contracts to support clinical studies.
- Negotiate, structure, and administer contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors, customers, and/or partners.
- Work closely with Clinical Operations, Finance, Legal, and CRO.
- Review and approve documents to protect the company's contractual position and ensure adherence to company policy.
- Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions.
- Manage negotiation of clinical site agreements, including NDAs, Clinical Trial Agreements, and Power of Attorney agreements.
- Work closely with CRO partners to monitor contract status and performance.
- Review clinical site budgets and assist in negotiation activities.
- Contribute to development of contract templates and standard operating procedures.
- Work with team members on active project management of ongoing contract issues; perform follow-up on all outstanding issues and suggest improvements as necessary.
- Support in generating amended contract and/or budget documents.
Requirements
- Demonstrate knowledge of contract requirements, analysis of contract performance, and special provisions.
- Analyze and understand contract terms and conditions.
- Work with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Strong computer skills, including knowledge of databases and spreadsheets.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder service skills.
- Time management, priority management, planning, and coordination/multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively.
- Project management skills are highly preferred.
- Maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related discipline.
- A professional certification or an advanced degree is preferred.
- Equivalent experience may also be considered.
