Sr. Construction Project Manager
Position Summary
The Senior Project Manager, Global Strategic Accounts, will manage and coordinate all Vertiv field resources throughout the construction, startup, and commissioning lifecycle of Vertiv projects. This role involves working closely with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective project completion.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee thermal, AC power, liquid cooling, and third-party labor field activities (install, startup, commissioning, and break fix).
- Ensure field teams understand scope of work and job schedules, and make every effort to meet them.
- Review manpower requirements to ensure adequate resources, and escalate internally when resource capacity doesn't align with job schedule.
- Cook up coordination meetings with internal and job site stakeholders.
- Create presentations and reports for internal stakeholders as needed.
- Maintain oversight of field variations and keep project manager informed of any changes.
- Adhere to project scope of work and ensure contractual obligations are met while identifying outside of scope work.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing MEP scopes and personnel on large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to indirectly manage up to 50 field resources at a time.
- Strong customer relation skills.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing commissioning issue resolution software.
Preferred Job Qualifications
- 8-12 years related field MEP experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a business related or technical field preferred (or equivalent of education and experience).
- Prior experience on data center construction projects is strongly preferred.
- OSH30 certification.

- Frequent Standing
- Frequent Travel (Onsite 5 days a week)
