Sr. Connectivity Systems Engineer, Connectivity Systems

The Role

As a Sr. Connectivity Systems Engineer, you will:

• Define wireless architecture for consumer electronics devices
• Define key performance metrics and drive modeling efforts to predict end-to-end system performance
• Perform gap analysis and system performance optimization across radio, PHY, MAC, firmware and software

Basic Qualifications

• Experience in communication theory, OFDM, MIMO, Digital/Wireless Communication Systems or RF engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 7+ years of experience in Wireless/RF
• Experience in Wi-Fi/BT/BLE/ZigBee/WAN/GPS/UWB or NFC
• Strong knowledge in PHY/MAC
• Experience with scripting languages and simulation tools such as Python/MatLab, and etc.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience in wireless architecture for consumer electronics
• Experience with wireless (Wi-Fi/BT/BLE/ZigBee) protocols
• Experience with Network Simulators and PHY/MAC layer modeling
• Experience in RFIC or Custom wireless chipset development

Pay

Base salary range for this position is $183,000.00 - $247,600.00 USD annually.
