Connectivity Service Operations - Sr. Network Engineer

What will you be doing?

Barclays Services Corp. seeks Connectivity Service Operations - Sr. Network Engineer in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):

• Manage Network Local Area Network/Wide Area Network/Metro Area Network infrastructure, Load balancer, Web proxies and Domain Name System appliances for the Barclays estate.
• Handle Incident, Problem and Change Management for critical and major incidents. Quickly react to live systems errors and service problems to minimize downtime and restore service. Focus on root cause identification and permanent fix implementation.
• Plan and implement minimal to significant changes based on business requirements and maintenance activities in line with change management processes and governance.
• Collaborate with regional and global counterparts, Product Engineering, Product Managers and Service Managers for input and new solutions onboarding.
• Maintain the integrity and stability of the production data network.
• Maintain accurate network infrastructure support documentation.
• Focus on meeting stakeholder needs by completing tasks and planning accordingly.
• Stay updated on the bank's Infrastructure Products and Services.
• May telecommute pursuant to company policies. [Hybrid role]
