Key job responsibilities
- Manage daily entry monitoring activities, including rejected entries, missing or inaccurate data, documentation discrepancies, and system-related failures impacting successful customs processing.
- Partner with LSPs to drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and timely resolution of operational blockers.
- Lead cancellation and replacement entry workflows by validating impacted shipments, coordinating required corrections with customs officials, and ensuring compliance alignment while minimizing downstream financial and operational risk.
- Supporting statement authorization and duty payment operations by investigating payment failures, rejected transactions, duty discrepancies, and system exceptions. Collaborate with Finance, tech team, and external partners to resolve defects, improve controls, and prevent recurring issues.
- Provide operational guidance, escalation support, and process improvements to increase entry accuracy, reduce manual intervention, and improve customs clearance performance at scale.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in Trade Compliance and/or Supply Chain industry, i.e. as customs agent/officer, compliance specialist, or customs operations
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
