Phillips 66 Gathering and Processing is seeking a Senior Commercial Accounts Manager II to manage business activities in the Midcon Texas region. This individual contributor role focuses on identifying price and supply/demand trends, cultivating customer relationships, and optimizing revenue from G&P contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a customer base in the West Texas region
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities to expand market share
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of G&P market structure and dynamics through key industry relationships
  • Deliver customer-centric solutions and monitor customer portfolios’ performance regularly to ensure targets are met
  • Build partnerships and work collaboratively with internal teams including Operations, Project Development, Legal, FP&A, and Commercial
  • Assume the lead role of customer interface for all commercial activities while collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver projects
  • Identify and execute new long-term supply opportunities and assist in determining prices and contract terms for profitable transactions in partnership with the Commercial and Trading functions
  • Identify projects and/or activities that improve current processes, then lead those projects or maintain accountability for ongoing activities or objectives
  • Conduct accurate and timely financial analysis, project approvals, ongoing customer engagement, and strategy setting within the region to support broader organizational goals
  • Consolidate multiple data points to assess market conditions and changes as they occur, then communicate these assessments throughout the organization

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 5 or more years of energy industry and/or account management experience
  • Intermediate or greater proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time

Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of energy industry and/or account management experience (preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or another related field (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Marketing, Pricing, Transportation and/or Commercial operations (preferred)
  • Working knowledge of the petrochemical industry (preferred)

About Midstream

The Phillips 66 Midstream business is a safe, reliable, and trusted provider for the movement, storage, gathering, and processing of liquid or gas energy via pipelines or terminals. We operate or manage over 70,000 miles of pipelines transporting crude oil and finished products, 39 terminals supplying consumer gas stations, and extensive natural gas gathering and processing operations. Our capabilities enhance the wellhead-to-market strategy and provide connectivity between Phillips 66 business units.

Pay

This position has a base salary range of $185,400 - $226,600. Offers are determined based on candidate experience, skills, and alignment with role requirements, ensuring internal equity and market competitiveness.
