About the role
Understory is seeking a motivated Account Manager to join our Madison, WI team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with our Sales and Underwriting teams as we rapidly attain new accounts, strengthen senior-level relationships, and drive revenue through renewals.
Responsibilities
- Support the company's efforts to expand our relationships with distinguished clientele.
- Work closely with the Sales and Underwriting teams to attain new accounts and drive revenue through renewals.
- Collaborate seamlessly with the sales and underwriting teams to deliver superior service.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with our internal teams and clients alike.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to internal teams to drive product and service enhancements.
- Coordinate and ensure complete resolution documentation of client concerns with urgency, maintaining a solutions-focused mindset that emphasizes both efficiency and customer care.
- Support our regular client and broker partner review meetings by sourcing, analyzing, calculating, collating, and updating performance metrics.
Requirements
- Experience in insurance and working with brokers and insureds.
- A P&C license.
- A track record of delivering accurate, on-time projects or document-related deliverables.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, along with a detail-oriented approach that ensures every client interaction is handled with precision.
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic, ever-changing environments.
- Proactivity, solution orientation, and ability to manage multiple priorities without becoming overwhelmed.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to maintain momentum and meet deadlines.
- A detail-oriented approach to ensure accurate, timely client document and resource development.
