Responsibilities
- Develop, program, and optimize inspection routines using PC-DMIS on advanced CMM equipment.
- Lead and execute First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
- Analyze engineering drawings and GD&T specifications to ensure dimensional compliance.
- Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to investigate and resolve dimensional issues.
- Maintain inspection programs and measurement strategies for a diverse range of precision components.
- Support quality audits and compliance activities within an AS9100-certified environment.
- Generate detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate quality documentation.
- Contribute to PPAP, FAIR, control plan development, and equipment qualification activities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of CMM programming experience within a precision manufacturing environment.
- Advanced PC-DMIS programming skills, including offline programming experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Hexagon CMM systems.
- Expert understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards.
- Experience working within AS9100 quality management systems.
- Proven capability leading First Article Inspections to AS9102 standards.
- Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and CAD models.
- Knowledge of measurement uncertainty, MSA, and calibration methodologies.
