Work You'll Do/Responsibilities
- Support the client as a cloud security engineering pod, serving as an extension of their internal team to advance cloud security efforts.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to help design, implement, and operationalize cloud security capabilities.
- Analyze, architect, build, and continuously enhance an unauthorized lateral movement solution for a large-scale OpenShift platform.
- Own solutions designed to operate at enterprise scale across the organization, with a strong focus on automation, seamless integration, and secure operations.
- Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and partners across Engineering, Operations, and the broader client organization, including teams working across different time zones.
- Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management.
- Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience working in Cyber Security specializing in Container Engineering
- 6+ years of experience working at large scale platform level for OpenShift or similar Kubernetes platforms
- 6+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container technologies such as Docker, Podman, and OpenShift
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability, scaling) of new and current systems
- Expertise in security fundamentals with relation to a Kubernetes platform
- Expertise with a major programming language such as Python or Java, and associated tooling (Git, Maven, IDEs, Jenkins, BitBucket, etc)
- Expertise with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodology
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
