Sr Cloud Systems Architect

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of cloud architecture frameworks for systems processing highly classified data
• Provide technical leadership and best-practice guidance to cloud-based DevOps application teams
• Design and optimize applications for high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery
• Apply deep engineering expertise to mission-critical programs with minimal supervision
• Ensure architectural alignment with DoD requirements and classified environment constraints

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in engineering and 20 years of relevant DoD experience, including 5 years in a DoD acquisition program as either a sub-system or system lead engineer within an ACAT 1 (or equivalent) special access program (SAP) program office
• Ten years' experience in designing large and complex IT operations in large organizations, research environments, or production environments
• Two years of DoD SAP engineering experience
• Strong leadership and team building skills, able to collaborate effectively in groups of high-performing individuals
• TS/SCI required to start, and it must be maintained throughout employment
