Sr Cloud Systems Architect

Responsibilities

1. Lead the development of cloud architecture frameworks for systems processing highly classified data.
2. Provide technical leadership and best-practice guidance to cloud-based DevOps application teams.
3. Design and optimize applications for high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery.
4. Apply deep engineering expertise to mission-critical programs with minimal supervision.
5. Ensure architectural alignment with DoD requirements and classified environment constraints.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in engineering and 20 years of relevant DoD experience, including 5 years in a DoD acquisition program as either a sub-system or system lead engineer within an ACAT 1 (or equivalent) special access program (SAP) program office.
• 10 years’ experience in designing large and complex IT operations in large organizations, research environments, or production environments.
• Two years of DoD SAP engineering experience.
• Strong leadership and team building skills, able to collaborate effectively in groups of high-performing individuals.
• TS/SCI clearance required to start, and it must be maintained throughout employment.
