Sr. Clinical Team Leader
Overview
This candidate needs to be a strong leader with a passion for providing quality mental health care and a talent for developing and supporting clinical staff. This role is crucial to the success of our clinical team and requires a professional who is not only a skilled clinician but also an effective manager and analyst.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide direct clinical supervision to both full-time and fee-for-service (FFS) clinicians, offering guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care.
Manage clinician caseloads to ensure proper distribution and workload balance.
Analyze staff productivity and review key metrics to help improve efficiency. Run and correct reports, such as identifying and resolving overlapping appointments.
Care for the coordination and support of the delivery of multiple services within our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model, ensuring seamless integration of care.
Be involved in various aspects of staff management, including reviewing candidate applications and participating in job placement interviews. Clinician assignments, co-facilitating staff meetings, and leading the onboarding process for new team members.
Review and update our agency's list of the top 50 high-utilizer clients, developing strategies to better meet their needs. Assist with data analytics to support the clinical team's decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
Help with the administrative aspects of the team, including assisting with the submission of Fee-for-Service timesheets.
Qualifications and Attributes
A master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
Preferred full licensure, active state licensure (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, etc.).
Proven experience in a clinical leadership or supervisory role.
Strong analytical skills with experience in reviewing and interpreting clinical and productivity data.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Familiarity with CCBHC standards and operations is a plus.
Familiarity with fiscal management principles, including budgeting and financial analysis.
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to ensure compliance.
Ability to effectively supervise and motivate a diverse team.
Computer skills and experience working with electronic medical records.
Education and Experience
A master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or Social Work.
Previous experience working with adolescents and families and being comfortable in both individual and group settings.
Previous experience working with adults in the Mental Health field, preferred.
Physical Characteristics
Must be capable to sit or stand in front of a computer for long periods of time.
Able to work in an open space floor plan.
Must be capable to move throughout the work day.
Work alongside co-workers within 3 feet.
Able to move in tight spaces.
Occasional lifting of >_15+ pounds.
