Responsibilities
- Ensure the office delivers quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Aid professional dental staff with treatment regularly
- Aid the Ortho Manager in optimizing the efficiency of the office to better serve our patients through building teamwork and scheduling patients and staffing ortho assistants effectively
- Provide excellent customer service by ensuring Patient Flow is running efficiently and ensure the office is making space to offer Same Day Care
- Assist with the recruiting and hiring, as well as responsible for the training of new ortho assistants
- Responsible for upholding the office to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations and company standards
- Guide all parents through our processes before treatment, educate them in oral hygiene instruction, and provide postoperative instructions
- Ensure the operational readiness of the clinical section of the office
- Be the point of contact with supply representatives and service technicians
- Order dental supplies and manage inventory
- Hold staff to the highest integrity by adhering to all government regulations, company standards, and company compliance programs
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited senior high school or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience as a dental assistant
- Demonstrated supervisory ability
- X-ray certification, other certified dental assistant credentials are required (state and position specific)
