As a Senior Clinical System Analyst - FirstNet, you'll play a critical role in connecting clinical operations with innovative technology solutions that improve patient care, enhance provider workflows, and support organizational excellence.
What You'll Do
- Partner with clinical and operational leaders to evaluate workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend technology solutions.
- Configure, maintain, and optimize clinical applications, including Oracle EHR and other clinical information systems.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and clinical requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.
- Support system implementations, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, testing, training, and go-live activities.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, workflow diagrams, build specifications, and standard operating procedures.
- Troubleshoot application issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with IT teams to resolve complex problems.
- Support data integrity, reporting, and analytics that drive clinical excellence and operational performance.
- Ensure clinical applications support regulatory, privacy, and security requirements, including HIPAA compliance.
- Serve as a trusted resource for end users by providing education, troubleshooting, and ongoing application support.
- Participate in change management, incident management, and downtime planning to ensure system reliability.
- Communicate application updates, enhancements, and best practices to clinical and operational stakeholders.
- Champion continuous improvement, patient safety, quality initiatives, and a culture of collaboration and innovation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three (3) or more years of experience supporting and optimizing clinical information systems in a healthcare environment.
- Experience supporting an enterprise Oracle Electronic Health Record (EHR) platform.
- Demonstrated experience contributing to complex projects and initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and facilitation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with project management and IT service management methodologies such as ITIL or PMP.
