Amazon Worldwide Grocery Category Management team is seeking a Sr. Category Manager, Frozen to develop category goals, strategies, and assortment tailored to customers in the growing Frozen category.
Responsibilities
- Create data-driven, customer-centric category strategies using insights, market trends, and competitive analysis.
- Own the financial performance of the category and develop seasonal strategies aligned with business goals.
- Curate assortments by collaborating with suppliers, leading line reviews, assortment planning, and item forecasting.
- Shape pricing strategies balancing profitability and customer value, and support impactful promotional events.
- Maintain accurate item-level data in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Instock, Operations, Trade Planning, and Demand Planning teams.
- Monitor category performance, adapt strategies based on data insights, and lead testing initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Represent and promote Amazon’s brand values, products, and mission internally and externally.
- Mentor team members and share category management best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience.
- 5+ years of account management, project/program management, or buying experience.
- Experience with business analysis and P&L management.
- Experience negotiating with internal and external stakeholders.
- 5+ years of Excel experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
- MBA.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL.
Pay
- USA, NY, New York: $133,300.00 - $185,000.00 USD annually
- USA, VA, Arlington: $121,200.00 - $163,900.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Seattle: $121,200.00 - $163,900.00 USD annually
