Senior Category Manager, Worldwide Grocery Category Management

About the role

The Worldwide Grocery Category Management team is seeking a talented Senior Category Manager to own the P&L and drive strategic selection decisions across Amazon's Deli category.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and business strategy for the Deli category, including establishing goals and measuring KPIs for results and growth across Amazon Grocery banners
• Manage category P&L performance by developing and executing plans that drive revenue growth and margin improvements across the business
• Partner with Vendor Managers and vendor partners to align on selection strategies and execute category plans, ensuring seamless collaboration to deliver against business objectives while maintaining clear accountability for P&L and selection decisions
• Analyze market trends, competitive landscape and customer insights to identify opportunities for category expansion and selection optimization
• Collaborate cross-functionally with In-Stock, Marketing, Operations, Merchandising and Leadership teams to align on category strategies and drive business financial objectives, ensuring integrated execution across all functions to deliver category goals

Qualifications

• 5+ years of with Excel experience
• Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Access or SQL
• Experience with business analysis and P&L management
• Experience using data to influence business decisions
• Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
• MBA
• Experience negotiating with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience presenting to senior leadership
