About the role

Join our dynamic Enterprise Applications team at Akamai, where your influence on the business through data-driven decisions can make a significant impact. This role requires a Senior Business Analyst who will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, needs, and goals related to billing management systems. You will analyze existing systems, create detailed requirements documentation, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution and delivery of roadmap items.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes, needs, and goals related to billing management systems.
  • Analyze existing systems and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Create detailed requirements documentation for proper delivery across the SDLC, including user stories, process flows, business requirements, and functional specifications.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, UX, Operations) to ensure successful execution and delivery of roadmap items.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test cases and coordinating testing efforts.
  • Ensure quality delivery and customer support into production through a hypercare cycle.
  • Complete project reviews and documentation for lessons learned for future improvements.
  • Be adaptable, productive, and quick to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's / Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Sr. Business Systems Analyst or similar role, ideally in IT.
  • Experience with Oracle Accounts Receivables platforms (R12 / Fusion Cloud).
  • Extensive knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously, with proven prioritization skills.
  • Skilled use of toolsets, presenting and articulating value of a program. Presentation, analysis and reporting tools contained with MS/Google toolsets.

Compensation for US-based candidates ranges from $88,900 - $160,100/year, with additional incentive compensation opportunities available.
