About the role
You will apply your strategic and analytical skills to one of the company's most important challenges: how our workforce evolves in the age of AI. You will lead a team with world-class professionals to develop, test, and scale strategies that shape how Capital One attracts, develops, and retains talent.
Responsibilities
- Workforce strategy: Drive the enterprise strategy for building an AI-ready workforce, assessing how AI reshapes roles and evolving Capital One's hiring, reskilling, and org-design response to attract, develop, and retain talent.
- Program leadership: Design and scale the resources and governance forums that help enterprise leaders transform with AI and plan their AI-forward talent strategy.
- People analytics: Build analyses, models, and tools across attrition, retention, internal mobility, and sentiment that turn people data into executive-level talent decisions.
- End-to-end ownership: Independently own complex, open-ended workforce problems by framing the problem, driving the analysis, and delivering recommendations that inform executive-level talent decisions.
- Cross-enterprise partnership: Build enduring and productive relationships across HR and the lines of business to sequence and deliver multiple priorities.
- People leadership: Manage and develop a team of analysts; coach and mentor associates across the organization to develop and retain top talent at Capital One.
- Strategic and analytic orientation: Bring proven problem-solving and decision-making grounded in analytics, pairing conceptual thinking with a strong quantitative orientation.
- Executive communication: Communicate with impeccable written and oral skills and strategic influence, driving agreement through intellect, storytelling with data, and negotiation.
- Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity: Be tenacious in driving decisions, and bring a healthy, aggressive yet responsible approach to solving complex, ambiguous problems.
- Clear results orientation: Demonstrate an intense focus on achieving short- and long-term goals, and the ability to drive an agenda in an uncertain and fluid environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- At least 3 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
- At least 3 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
- At least 1 year of experience performing people management
- At least 1 year of experience performing project management
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Business or quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Physical Sciences, Math, Statistics, Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis
- 5+ years of experience in qualitative analysis
- 2+ years of experience in people management
- 2+ years of experience in product development
- 2+ years of experience in financial modeling
- 2+ years of experience in economic forecasting
- 2+ years of experience in project management
