Duties And Responsibilities

  • New Business Hunting (ICT & Electronics): Proactively identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities within the Bay Area ICT ecosystem. Focus on high-margin sectors such as medical device manufacturing (PCBA/System Assembly) and AI-integrated hardware.
  • Strategic Market Expansion: Support the business unit’s long-term goal of achieving NT$10 billion in drone-related revenue by 2030 through aggressive market development and partnership building.
  • Regulatory & Compliance Oversight: Navigate complex regulatory environments, ensuring all business activities and technical alignments comply with FAA (Aviation) and FDA (Medical) standards.
  • HQ-Local Coordination: Act as a critical bridge between Taiwan HQ R&D/Operations teams and local US clients. Facilitate real-time feedback loops and participate in cross-time zone meetings to align technical specifications and production schedules.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct deep-dive competitive analysis and monitor industry trends (e.g., AI server demand, E-mobility, and GNSS applications) to inform HQ’s strategic decision-making.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or technical background is a plus.

Experience

  • Minimum over 5 years of Business Development or Sales experience specifically within the ICT, Semiconductor, or Electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Must have an established professional network in the Bay Area technology ecosystem (startups, Tier-1 OEMs, and research institutions).

Other Requirements

  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced "start-up" environment within a global corporation.
  • Familiarity with FAA or FDA regulatory processes is highly desirable.
  • Native or professional fluency in English is required.
  • Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is highly preferred to facilitate seamless communication with Taiwan HQ.
