Sr. Business Coach, AFP Partner Success Team

About the role

As a Senior Business Coach in the Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) program, you will serve as a trusted advisor and operating partner to 25-35 small-business owners across the U.S., including entrepreneurs with no prior trucking experience. You will guide them through the entire business lifecycle, helping solve challenges, influence strategy, and identify obstacles to ensure their success. You will collaborate with internal teams—including Program Managers, Compliance, and Finance—to ensure owners launch and scale their businesses in compliance with program requirements. Your role involves analyzing problems, delivering recommendations, and driving operational improvements at the network level.

Responsibilities

• Partner with AFP owners to set strategy, drive accountability, and track key performance metrics.
• Support owners during launch, scaling, and operational challenges, ensuring they have resources for peak periods.
• Conduct Business and Financial Health Reviews to discuss performance and new opportunities.
• Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement operational improvements at the network level.
• Travel 2-3 days per week to support your portfolio of AFP owners as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in account or relationship management, small business logistics, or retail/vendor/supplier management.
• 1+ year of experience with Amazon Middle Mile systems and operations.
• Experience working with or owning a small business (preferred).

Pay

• Nashville, TN: $110,200 – $149,100 USD annually
• Bellevue, WA: $122,400 – $165,600 USD annually

Compensation includes base salary, sign-on payments, and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation is determined by experience, qualifications, and location.
