Sr. Business Coach, AFP Partner Success Team
About the role
Amazon Freight Partner (freightpartner.amazon.com) is a new program that enables entrepreneurs to start and grow their trucking business alongside Amazon. The program includes exclusive training, the ability to hire from local communities, and long-term growth potential. Senior Business Coaches work alongside Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) business owners to solve their biggest challenges, influence their business planning and strategy, and ensure they make effective business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Partner with 25-35 AFP small-business owners across the US, including those with no background in the trucking industry.
- Work closely with a portfolio of owners at different stages to set strategy, drive accountability, and engage them.
- Collaborate with an integrated internal team of Program Managers, Compliance, and Finance personnel to ensure owners launch and scale their business in compliance with program requirements.
- Support owners by removing obstacles and improving financial, operational, and safety practices at the network level.
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and formulate/implement operational improvements at the network level.
- Willingness to travel (2-3 days/week) and be flexible with hours and travel to support the portfolio of assigned AFP owners as needed.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of account or relationship management, small business logistics, or retail/vendor/supplier management experience.
- 1+ year of experience within Amazon Middle Mile systems or operations.
