Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret aviation technical data including:Maintenance Work Orders (MWOs)Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs)Engineering drawings and specificationsTechnical Orders (TOs)Service Bulletins (SBs)Maintenance manuals and Illustrated Parts Breakdowns (IPBs)OEM technical publications and engineering change documentation
- Develop detailed Bills of Material (BOMs) from technical requirements, including:Aircraft parts and componentsConsumable materialsHazardous materialsCommon hardware and shop suppliesStockage and bench stock requirementsRepair materials and kitsElectrical harness fabricationMechanical assemblies for fabrication
- Develop labor build-ups and work breakdown structures including:Labor hour estimates by skill categoryWork sequencing and task dependenciesCritical path identificationSchedule development and maintenanceResource loading and manpower requirements
- Identify and document:Special tooling requirementsGeneral shop tooling requirementsTest equipment requirementsGround support equipment (GSE) needsFacilities and infrastructure requirements
- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules supporting:Aircraft modificationsDepot maintenance activitiesSustainment programsField service activitiesProduction and installation schedules
- Career Development activities including:Proposal development and technical volume preparationCost estimating and Basis of Estimate (BOE) developmentCapture strategy and solution developmentTechnical risk assessmentsCustomer technical discussions and site visits
- Provide planning and scheduling support to operational programs as required, including schedule updates, resource planning, and technical problem solving.
- Develop reports, presentations, and process flow diagrams to communicate technical and program information to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Aviation Maintenance, Aviation Management, Business, or related technical discipline; equivalent military or industry experience may be substituted.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation maintenance, aircraft modifications, depot maintenance, or technical planning and scheduling.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying:MWOsTCTOsEngineering drawingsTechnical OrdersMaintenance manualsOEM technical documentation
- Experience developing:Bills of Material (BOMs)Labor estimates and build-upsIntegrated Master Schedules (IMS)Material requirements plansTooling and equipment requirements
- Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes, logistics, and supply chain operations.
- Experience supporting government or commercial aviation programs.
- Eligibility for Secret or higher security clearance
Technical Skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience supporting military aircraft platforms such as:C-130 and other large fixed wing aircraft variantsRotary wing aircraftFixed wing tactical and training aircraftOther Department of Defense and Federal Agency aviation platforms
- Familiarity with:Earned Value Management (EVM)Integrated Master Scheduling (IMS)Configuration management processesDoD acquisition and sustainment environments
