About the role
The Senior Application Launch Manager will lead the implementation of Kenco’s Warehouse Management (WMS) systems across the company's network of sites. This role requires a collaborative approach to project management and involves working closely with senior management and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Independently leads project activities including design, implementation planning, and execution;
- Schedules kickoff meetings, gathers requirements, analyzes, builds, tests, and launches projects;
- Liaises with vendors and customers;
- Maintains and updates product documentation and training materials;
- Trains and troubleshoots production issues;
- Develops and implements customizations and integrations for WMS, LMS, and WCS;
- Tracks project progress and reports status to management;
- Manages risks and prepares recommendations for post-mortem analysis;
- Assists in defining best practices for project management;
- Prepares necessary artifacts for project closure and oversees successful turnover to production support;
- Supports management in defining best practices for project management;
- Submits and recommends post-launch budget changes as necessary;
- Manages departmental activities and tracks progress;
- Designs and executes test plans;
- Mentors junior level resources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field;
- Minimum 6-8 years’ experience in project management and implementation of WMS and/or LMS;
- Proficiency in SQL;
- Experience integrating WMS systems with ERP systems (such as SAP), and WCS (Warehouse Control Systems) a plus;
- Ability to create positive and professional business relationships with internal and external clients and third-party service/product providers;
- Knowledge of distribution center/logistics concepts, including best practices, warehousing terminology, and ability to visualize "to be" models;
- Strong business planning and analytical skills, including market intelligence, metrics, financial analysis, and business model development;
- Highly motivated and self-sufficient, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously without affecting deadlines.

Travel Requirements
This position is expected to travel approximately 25% - 50%. A passport is not required, but recommended.
