Sr AP Team Member
About the role
Arium Networks seeks a dynamic Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting to the AP Supervisor and AP Manager, this role involves performing quality control assessments, processing various vouchers, and assisting in enhancing AP workflows.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality control assessment and ensure vendor and landowner check requests and invoices are approved in accordance with the Commitment Authority Policy.
- Process various vouchers by matching to purchase orders, coding and uploading utility bills, and entering non-PO check requests and invoices into the ERP system.
- Act as an escalation point in resolving issues and inquiries identified in the processing of the above tasks by AP team members.
- Prioritize and resolve inquiries and discrepancies based on time sensitivity by partnering with vendors and internal business partners to research and analyze the issues.
- Issue daily and weekly disbursements including cutting checks, preparing ACH files, creating cashiers checks, and setting up EFT payments through the bank website.
- Continually analyze processes for efficiencies and provide recommendations to improve the AP workflow.
- Train new Accounts Payable Team Members in AP processes and procedures.
- Assist in the education of internal/external customers on Crown Castle’s AP processes.
- Create ad-hoc reporting for internal and external customers.
- Understand and adhere to the Company’s control environment to ensure compliance with SOX.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance or related discipline preferred.
- Four (4) years of related business experience.
Skills and Experience
- Working knowledge of accounts payable processes.
- Working knowledge of JD Edwards or other similar accounting software.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work well on a team and collaborate with internal and external business partners.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Advanced problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Where you will work
This role falls into our hybrid work model, which is 2-days work from home (Friday and Monday) and 3-days in the office (Tuesday through Thursday) to optimize collaboration, relationship building and key stakeholder engagement and may require some travel as needed.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range offered for this position is $20.63 - $30.91 per hour. A candidate’s offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives.
