Sr Accountant, TOPO Athletic-Hybrid

About the role

The Sr. Accountant role at Topo Athletic offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial story of a rapidly growing athletic footwear company. This position is hybrid and based in Framingham, MA.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to monthly close activities, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support the preparation of monthly financial reporting and compliance documentation
• Prepare post-close balance sheet flux commentary and departmental budget-to-actual analyses
• Maintain and reconcile cash balances
• Process accounts payable payments and reconcile credit card statements
• Support invoice processing for international distributors
• Reconcile and process factory inventory bills
• Maintain and reconcile landed costs on inventory receipts
• Complete weekly shipping cost analysis to track trends and variances
• Prepare monthly commission summaries and detailed reports for external sales representatives
• Generate reports and respond to ad hoc requests from leadership using NetSuite
• Aid in accounts receivable collections and customer credit activities
• Partner with internal teams to support projects or resolve day-to-day accounting needs
• Occasionally support in-office tasks such as remote check deposits

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an accounting role
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Working knowledge of NetSuite, or willingness to learn and grow expertise in the system
• Ability to manage priorities and move work forward efficiently
• Comfort working independently while also collaborating with others
• Willingness to step in and support teammates or other departments when needed

Skills

• Technical skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
• Working knowledge of NetSuite, or willingness to learn and grow expertise in the system

Pay

The estimated hiring pay range for this position is $71,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year, subject to applicable geographic differentials and company discretion.
