Sr. Accountant (ERP)

About the role

The role offers exposure to financial reporting, month-end close activities, intercompany accounting, lease accounting, audit support, and large-scale ERP environments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, work cross-functionally with finance, payroll, AP/AR, and IT teams, and play a key role in the organization's transition from SAP to Oracle Fusion.

Responsibilities

• Create intercompany transactions, including loans and invoicing
• Calculate roll forwards and perform reconciliation of related-party and external intercompany transactions
• Manage IFRS 16 lease accounting activities
• Reconcile payroll tax and net pay accruals with bank transactions
• Prepare and post journal entries in SAP
• Develop and maintain fixed asset schedules and supporting documentation
• Facilitate the month-end accounting close process
• Review, identify, and correct inaccuracies in financial records
• Complete monthly account reconciliations and resolve variances
• Participate in the transition from SAP to Oracle Fusion
• Support external audit requests and provide required documentation
• Contribute to special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 5+ years of experience performing similar accounting duties
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• High attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy in execution

Qualifications

• Experience in financial analysis
• Knowledge of large ERP systems (SAP, Oracle)
• Experience supporting ERP system transitions
