Sr. Accountant

Senior Accountant (Contract)We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a contract opportunity. This role will be responsible for overseeing the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close processes, and providing financial insights to leadership. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. Key ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle accounting, including general ledger maintenance, month-end close, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliations.Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management activities while ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.Review and reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, intercompany transactions, and loan activity.Assist with payroll processing and payroll-related reporting, ensuring timely and accurate records.Prepare budgets, forecasts, and budget-to-actual analyses.Generate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reports for leadership.Partner with external auditors, tax professionals, and financial partners as needed.Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiencies.Provide financial analysis and actionable insights to support business decisions. Bachelor's degree in Accounting required7+ years of progressive accounting experience.Experience managing month-end close, financial reporting, and reconciliations.Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.Experience working with multiple entities, intercompany transactions, payroll, and budgeting is a plus.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
