We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support month-end close activities, including journal entry preparation and reconciliation of assigned general ledger accounts across multiple Ticketmaster business lines. Responsibilities

  • Prepare and record month-end journal entries to support accurate and timely financial close.
  • Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts monthly to ensure SOX compliance and financial accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve reconciling items by partnering with internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
  • Maintain schedules supporting ticketing revenue deferral to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
  • Prepare reports and journal entries related to ticket sales and revenue recognition processes.
  • Maintain amortization and accrual schedules to support financial reporting requirements.
  • Prepare accruals for fulfillment-related activities to ensure completeness of financial records.
  • Support internal and external audits, including quarterly and annual SOX, financial, and sales tax audits.
  • Assist in preparing ad hoc financial analyses and schedules for internal management reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve accounting processes and ensure data integrity.

Pay

The expected compensation for this position is $65,000.00 USD - $82,000.00 USD. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location, qualifications, skills, and experience.
