KBW Financial Staffing is working with a client in the Portland, ME area looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Analyze account activity and financial results, research discrepancies, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Assist with audits, budgeting, financial analysis, and ongoing accounting projects while identifying opportunities to improve processes and controls.
Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong Excel skills
Pay
$85,000 to $105,000 depending on experience.
