A well-established manufacturer with a "People First" attitude is seeking a seasoned Sr. Accountant to join their dynamic and fast-paced team.

Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all facets of accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to provide insight into the company's financial status and aid in decision-making processes.
- Prepare accurate financial statements in accordance with the established schedule and with input from the rest of the accounting department.
- Conduct regular ledger maintenance and reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy.
- Utilize expertise in cost accounting to analyze and interpret complex financial information and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
- Prepare tax returns and corporate reporting requirements.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls and procedures.
- Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Provide guidance and support to the accounting team, fostering an environment of learning and growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, accounting, cost accounting, financial statements, tax preparation, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly strong Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to explain complex financial information in clear terms to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
