About the role
Join a stable, growing construction company where you'll support month-end accounting, financial analysis, and budgeting while developing your expertise within a collaborative and flexible team. Full‑time, permanent position located in Frederick, MD.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end close, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Prepare financial analyses and support financial reporting activities
- Manage cash and vendor payment processes
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Support accounting compliance and maintain accurate financial records
- Partner with project accounting, AP, and other cross-functional teams
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of Accounting experience
- Strong month-end close and journal entry experience
- Experience with financial analysis, cash/vendor payments, and compliance
- Preferred: Public accounting audit experience
- Preferred: Construction accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Pay
$80,000 - $90,000 per year base salary (DOE)
